"Our contemporary design was unique and not easy to build Dunfords rose to this very difficult challenge...Finalist in the Grand Designs Awards is testament to the skilled work provided by your company...truly appreciated."
Occupying a naturally beautiful site, the high level of design threw down many challenges to our team who relished the opportunity to flex their specialist skills to great effect.
The main living space is located on the first floor to take advantage of the views, overhanging and seemingly floating above the ground floor whose walls are constructed in dry stone walling using Purbeck stone. The dramatic main roof structure is clad in zinc and supported on specially designed curved Glulam beams topping elevations of natural stone, glass, cedar boarding and naturally coloured render. The front roof slope is covered in slate with cedar boarding to the walls below.
With glass walkways, bespoke stairways and cutting-edge features the complexity and creativity of this project required our team's "hard work and enthusiasm"
